RSI Trading Guidelines
What is RSI?
RSI (Relative Strength Index) is a widely used momentum indicator that measures the speed and strength of price movements to help traders identify potential overbought and oversold market conditions.
RSI values range from 0 to 100. Generally, a reading above 70 indicates a potentially overbought market, while a reading below 30 indicates a potentially oversold market.
RSI Trading Signals
Bullish Signal (Buy)
A bullish signal occurs when the Fast RSI (RSI1) crosses above the Slow RSI (RSI2) while both indicators are in the oversold area (below 30). This suggests that bullish momentum may be increasing and a potential buying opportunity may be developing.

Signal Characteristics:
• RSI1 (Fast) crosses above RSI2 (Slow) below the 30 level
• The market may be oversold
• Bullish momentum begins to strengthen
• A price rebound may occur
Bearish Signal (Sell)
A bearish signal occurs when the Fast RSI (RSI1) crosses below the Slow RSI (RSI2) while both indicators are in the overbought area (above 70). This suggests that bearish momentum may be increasing and a potential selling opportunity may be developing.

Signal Characteristics:
• RSI1 (Fast) crosses below RSI2 (Slow) above the 70 level
• The market may be overbought
• Bearish momentum begins to strengthen
• A price pullback may occur
Advantages of RSI
• Helps identify overbought and oversold conditions
• Measures changes in market momentum
• Assists in identifying potential trend reversals
• Suitable for both trending and ranging markets
Important Notes
• Overbought or oversold conditions do not always indicate an immediate trend reversal.
• During strong market trends, RSI may remain above 70 or below 30 for an extended period.
• Consider using RSI together with indicators such as MACD, EMA, or BOLL for additional confirmation.
• Always apply proper risk management and stop-loss strategies when trading.
Summary
RSI is a simple yet effective momentum indicator. Generally, when the Fast RSI (RSI1) crosses above the Slow RSI (RSI2) in the oversold area, it may indicate strengthening bullish momentum and a potential buying opportunity. Conversely, when the Fast RSI (RSI1) crosses below the Slow RSI (RSI2) in the overbought area, it may indicate weakening momentum and a potential selling opportunity.
For better accuracy, traders are encouraged to combine RSI with other technical indicators to confirm trading signals.
