# Mexc - API Import Guide

Go to the exchange to create the API and set permissions. Connect to the exchange through the API, Your trading capital is held on the exchange.

Please follow the instructions in the pictures below:

**Step 1: Generate Your API key** \
API keys is not currently supported on the Mobile App.Need to go to the Mexc website.

**1.1** Sign into your Mexc(<https://www.mexc.com/>) account with web browser, click on the **\[**<mark style="color:blue;">**User Icon**</mark>**]** in the top right of the main page. and then click **\[**<mark style="color:blue;">**API Managemen**</mark>&#x74;**].** As follow:

**1.2** On the **\[API Management]** page, select the permissions as in the example below. Make sure the following permissions are checked. Enter **\[**<mark style="color:blue;">**uTrading**</mark>**]** in the notes section; Finally click **\[**<mark style="color:blue;">**Create**</mark>**]**, As follow:

**IP Addresses of the uTrading server:** \ <mark style="color:red;">13.251.83.60,18.139.102.94,3.1.7.213,46.137.215.117,52.220.111.151,52.77.45.93,54.169.15.234,52.220.31.227,52.220.117.151,13.213.132.125</mark>

**1.3** Enter your verification code to complete the Security Verification. and then click **\[**<mark style="color:blue;">**Submit**</mark>**].** As follow:

**1.5** Copy and Save your Secret Key in a secure location for your account's safety. As follows: \ <mark style="color:red;">(Please note: the Secret Key will not be shown in the API List once you leave this page)</mark>

**Step 2: Linking Your API Key with uTrading.**

**2.1** Open the uTrading APP, go to the **\[**<mark style="color:blue;">**Home**</mark>**]** page, and then click **\[**<mark style="color:blue;">**API Binding**</mark>**]**. As follows:

**2.2** Enter the **\[API Binding]** page, and then click **\[**<mark style="color:blue;">**Mexc**</mark>**]**. As follow:

**2.3** Open the API import page, paste the **\[**<mark style="color:blue;">**Access Key**</mark>**]** and **\[**<mark style="color:blue;">**Secret Key**</mark>**]** from the BitFinex into uTrading, click **\[**<mark style="color:blue;">**Import**</mark>**]** after filled. As follow:

Success! If you have successfully completed these steps, the status will show as "API is running normally".
